UFMG & Climativa

Qriska collaborates with the prestigious Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG, Brazil), recognized for its scientific excellence.

This collaboration is part of Climativa, an innovative methodology for developing climate action plans, created within UFMG under the direction of Professors Natalia Aguiar Mol and Rejane Magiag Loura from the Department of Technological Architecture and Urbanism.
Based on a strong participatory approach and supported by two digital platforms (Climativa and Qriska), the Climativa methodology finally provides an effective response to the challenge of mobilizing communities — a major breakthrough!
With Qriska Alert, the objective is not simply to invite citizens to public meetings that few attend, but rather to virtually reach them in their homes, workplaces, and daily environments.

Through this innovative approach, actions better reflect community needs and are built on a truly localized analysis of territorial issues.
From elected officials to local technicians, from associations to businesses and residents — all stakeholders can now share their specific concerns and jointly define action priorities that are more coordinated, operational, and appropriately scaled.
Nearly 20 municipalities in Minas Gerais (Brazil) have already joined this ambitious and proactive initiative.
The tools provided, particularly the various Qriska modules, enable the development of stronger, more relevant climate action plans — while also supporting day-to-day territorial management and crisis response.
A new approach and new tools for a new model of territorial governance — modern, balanced, participatory, and therefore more sustainable.
An approach (Climativa) and tools (Climativa and Qriska platforms) that can be deployed throughout Brazil and across the world.
